Reinstallation at GVA successfully completed
by TMT The Mobile Terminal @ 12:01
It is done! The reinstallation of GVA's TMT terminal is successfully completed.

Today, TMT has handed over Geneva International Airport's (GVA) reinstalled TMT terminal on a brightly sunny day mirroring everyone's high spirits. The last installation days were used to install the terminal entrances and to finalize the terminal interior: installation of the air conditioning system, flooring, electrical installation, and cleaning. Also, the building was checked and accepted by the fire department and airport police. The electrical acceptance by the Swiss authorities was completed successfully as well.

On November 22 we had a brief visit by a group of students of the architecture class at the CFPC (Centre de Formation Professionnel pour la Construction) of Geneva that was doing a field trip to Geneva Airport. Led by GVA's airport architect Olivier Hohl, the students were also inspecting TMT's final installation stages in the context of their trip.

Now, with their backup terminal completed and ready for operation, Geneva can lean back, relax, and wait for the droves of ski tourists.

Next, TMT and GVA will agree upon a couple of dates throughout this winter season on which interested parties can visit the terminal and experience it in operation. We will announce these dates here on the blog as well as on our facebook-page as soon as they are fixed. Of course you can also contact us for alternative visiting dates at any time.
